Gacha Cost Calculator
Enter how many pulls you need and the price of a single pull. The calculator converts that into premium currency, US dollars, and the effective price per 5-star — including the monthly-pass scenario that most players overlook.

Why "price per pull" is not a single number
Every gacha store sells the same currency at several prices. The expensive-per-unit option is almost never the big bundle you assume: it is the small bundle bought repeatedly. A typical store looks like this:
| Top-up | Currency | Currency per $1 | Pulls per $1 |
|---|---|---|---|
| $4.99 | 300 | 60.1 | 0.38 |
| $14.99 | 980 | 65.4 | 0.41 |
| $49.99 | 3,280 | 65.6 | 0.41 |
| $99.99 | 6,480 | 64.8 | 0.41 |
The gap between the smallest and largest bundle is usually under 10%. Players routinely pay a premium for convenience and never notice.
What a pity actually costs
At 160 currency per pull and roughly 65 currency per dollar, one pull is about $2.46. A hard pity at 90 pulls is therefore around $222, and a guaranteed featured character after losing the 50/50 is around $444. This is the number worth internalising before you decide a banner is "almost there".
Three ways to cut the real cost
- Buy the pass and wait. Nothing else comes close on price per pull. The trade-off is time: you cannot convert a pass into 90 pulls today.
- Use first-purchase bonuses deliberately. A doubled first top-up effectively halves the price of that bundle. Spend it on the banner you actually care about, not the first one that appears.
- Do not chase the last 10 pulls. The final stretch feels cheapest because the probability is highest, but it is also where players spend the most money per minute. Decide the budget before the banner starts.
What this calculator does not include
Regional pricing, taxes, currency conversion fees and platform cuts are excluded. Store prices also vary by country and by platform, and sales or bundles can beat the numbers above. Treat the output as a planning estimate, not a quote.
